If she is a dwarf hamster, it's a definite no. While dwarf hamsters are communal and get along well with other dwarf hamsters, females are very, very territorial and will kill another non-familial female in the same cage.

Wow you are talking about syrian hamsters here, they are not social animals they like to live on there own and they never get lonely even though they look lonely sometimes they might be just boared. I made a mistake with syrian hamsters by putting 2 of them in the same cage, and then when i come to look at them in the evening they were fighting so i had to separate them and put them in separate cages and they were both female, and it would be worst with a male. So its not a good idea to get 2 unless you put them in separate cages.

if they are syrian hamsters definetly do not put 2 together they will fight and one of them will eventully get killed.

if they are dwarf hamsters they are more likly to get along together but they might not if they are not sisters

Its really not a good idea. Hamsters like to be alone.
