Please Help Me Find My Friends Hamster2007-11-24 22:14:35

well my friend is away for 2 weeks and she gave me her hamster to look after cause im the only 1 she can trust and 4 days after her leaving he managed to get out of his cage and i have looked every where i can think i put his toys out and always make his food up every day, he has no teeth so he cn't chew anything and he is a really spolied hamster so i dn't see why he wldn't want to cme bk he has been away for about 5 days now i have 2 dogs here but we know the dogs wldn't eat him , i have been leaving his cage open incase he decides to cme back but what is really anoying me is there are no signs of him as in poo,pee or any noises so if any 1 could help me i would be gratefull. xx

i have lost my hamster 12 times!!! And i left out a hamster wheel which usually made him come back. I would also check in dark warm places as this is where they would usually be. Also round the edge of a room. I hope you find it!

well lay some food out in a box and hopefully he will end up in there still by the next day

Try this. Get bucket and put his bedding on the bottom. Make ramp going to the bucket. Leave a trail of his food to the bucket and in the bucket. Hopefully the little guy will follow the trail and jump in the bucket.

Hamsters are extremely curious aninmals and they love to explore.Follow these steps and you will be fine, however while you are doing these steps make sure to keep everything out of the dogs reach.
