Oh!Don't worry!I give them to my hamsters all of the time!Don't Worry!It is a fun and affordable toy for a hamster!The glue will not hurt them!i own 12 hamsters and I give them one all of the time!You can put the tube in their and they with crawl into it,the will eventually chew it up to shreds for their bedding!Also another great choice is a tissue box,just remove the plastic for the top!Hope this helps!

P.S.It will help wear down their teeth if they get to long,where the little guy wont suffer!

it depends-where did you read that ?if it was in a book about hamsters or something ,my answer is ,yes;it can hurt him!if it was in a novel it might not b true.

hamsters love to chew on things to keep their teeth healthy and will chew on anything in their cage - put in chew toys and sticks for them to keep from hurting their teeth on the bars or eating the glue on the toilet paper rolls.

the cardboard shouldn't hurt them, it's typically nontoxic. they'll probably chew it all up after a while - just give her a new one to play with.

also, you can use little bits of (unscented) toilet paper or paper towels for them to help make a nest.
