Okay I'm on the phone with my friend right now, and we're talking about my new baby guinea pig, Bella. My friend said that her parents are going to get her one, but they said that she couldn't take it out of the cage. I keep trying to coax my friend out of getting a guinea pig because what kind of life is that for a guinea pig to never get to come out of the cage? I even talked to her parents and I said that they are very social animals and they need to be held and showered with love and affection, but they still won't listen!

I told her that it's WAY too small for a guinea pig. They won't listen! I know this guinea pig will have a horrible life.

What can I do to get her to not buy a guinea pig?!? I do not want a guinea pig to suffer from this situation. HELLPPP!!

I know how you feel and I wish my answer could help you since i'm also an animal lover and we both have the same dream. I think you should tell your friend that its better not to get a guinea pig if they can't provide the animal's basic needs. Animals are also like humans when it comes to its needs. We know that everybody wants to be loved and cared of and its not so nice if your'e inside a room for the whole day without letting you go out even once just like a guinea pig kept inside for its whole life.
