Please help my hamsters ear got a cut2007-11-24 22:14:36
i don't know what to do, it seems like my hamster got a cut on his ear. it's not bleeding but theres blood on it. what should i do? please help guys i am waiting for your answers =[
Answers:When my hamster's ear got cut, I just cleaned it with a Q-Tip and some water. After awhile it just mended it self back together. If you hamster won't hold still, just leave it be, because hamsters tend to clean themselves. :)
is there a other hamster in there cuz if there is its a wound from playing, like one of my dogs has one
he will be fine, maybe wash it off with some water, and let it heal itself. the hamster wouldnt to anything to hurt it self. it probly just got snagged on somthing. just give it a day or two and if you dont see any sighns of improvent call a vet and ask what to do next, dont take him/her to the vet right away since it is probly just a minor cut. wacth him closly and make sure he doesnt get the ear dirty, because it could posibly get infected but that is a very low risk so dont worry, and i hope i helped
What do u think u should do..TAKE IT TO A VET NOW!!
Just a cut. Stop cool down. It will heal but if it got infected I would wash it with just water and then take it to the vet to get some cream or something. However., the vet is a little life or death I would just wash it with water clean it up and let it be. If it is not bleeding then it will be fine. The cut will heal. GOOD LUCK!
