my guinea piggie is popcorning ALOT. shes playing on my bedroom floor. she looks like she's gonna hurt herself! hahahaa. shes like jumping and twisting her neck and stuff. any ideas on how i can make her calm down??!?!??

Answers:

My rabbit does the equivalent of that (binkying) ^_^. I usually move anything he could bonk into out of the way, and sit nearby to make sure he doesn't hurt himself.

Try holding and stroking her (if you can) to make her calm down, but don't worry about her--it just means she's super-happy.

Awwww, how cute! I remember what I used to do whenever my guinea pig popcorned. I would hold him still and pet his head. And sometimes I would just let him popcorn his heart out, but I would put a protective arm by anywhere I considered to be dangerous so he wouldn't hurt himself. Good luck with your guinea pig :)

Ah, thats cute!! Just make sure theres nothing that could hurt her! You might give her treats that could get her to slow down, but then again she might get so excited that she keeps doing it! Well have fun w/ her!

popcorning means she's happy. she won't hurt herself.

is she a baby? they usually popcorn more than adults.
