Do pregnant hamsters be active? How many days is the delivery of the baby? Is it ok to combine 2 female hamster in one change while the other is pregnant?
Answers:when a hamster is pregnant DONT put it together with another female..it will act agressive towards the female and will try to either kill it when the babies are born or if the babies is touched by the female (non-mother) she'll kill the babies..and a hamster gesturation period is around 16 days and pregnant hamsters are active until they give birth..then after their babies grow they act agressive for some reason and tends to bite for a while and after a month in a half take the baby hams out of the cage and seperate them 1 to a cage unless they're dwarf hamsters
Richard Gere had nothing to do with it

Yes pregnant hamsters can be active. For her own good is to put her alone in a cage. and place her in a slightly dark area, so tat she can take care of her and her babies. REMEMBER after she give birth DO NOT touch her babies at all, cos when she smell out that her babies does not have her sense she will eat them. As well as if after she give birth dont not remove her die little, cos she will eat them back to replace all the nutri. And dont move her cage around..
Also, when she gives birth, remove the wheel.
i have no clue but you are so lucky! i want a hamster so bad!! my mom won't let me get one. hamster are suppose to be the first pet you get besides a fish and a puppy. but it wouldnt be a good idea to combine the pregnant hamsters with the other ones. because the pregnant might get agression to the others because shes protecting her unborn babies
