I love rabbits :D. You can buy your rabbit from a pet shop, but they are usually healthier when you buy them from a rabbit breeder. Another way of getting a rabbit would be to adopt one from a local animal shelter

You will also need to get a cage big enough for your rabbit. The bigger it is, the more room your rabbit will have to run around. If you are thinking of keeping your rabbit outdoors, you should keep the hutch in a garden shed to protect it from the extremes of weather, and should start this in spring to let your rabbit get used to the weather. Rabbits are sensitive to heat, so keep your rabbit out of direct sunlight.

It is not hard to litter train your rabbit, and helps alot when it comes to cleaning the cage. You will notice that your pet will start to leave all of its droppings in one corner of the cage. All you need to do is put a litterbox in that corner, and fill it with dustfree unscented cat litter. Then, put a bit of its waste in the litterbox, and place the rabbit in it often so it knows what it is for. Spayed or neutered rabbits are easier to litter train, because they dont leave waste anywhere else to mark their territory.

While your cleaning the cage, you can put your rabbit in a rabbit run to let it run around and nibble on fresh grass. Make sure to place this run on grass that HAS NOT been treated with weedkiller. If you do not have a run, you can let it run in an enclosed area, such a bedroom. Make sure that there are no cords for your rabbit to chew on in the room.
