Rabbit help plz
I have a rabbit and I keep its cage clean, and give it fresh food and water every day. I noticed that there is poo sticking to her anal area, and she has reddish-orange urine. Can somebody please help me to solve the problem? I would really appreciate it.
Answers:How is your bunny doing today? I don't have personal experience with bathing a rabbit, but here is a site that lists some helpful links:

Be gentle, as bathing can be very stressful for a rabbit. It isn't normal for a rabbit to have a dirty bottom like that. Take your bunny to the vet or at least talk to your vet about what's going on and how to remedy this.
Reddish-orange urine is actually normal, depending on what you've been feeding your rabbit. Make sure that your rabbit has UNLIMITED access to Timothy hay and water.

Just give ur rabbit a bath every 1and 1/2 months
GOOD LUCK!
What type of food are you feeding it? Try to feed it more dry food; stay away from feeding it lettuce or other wet foods. Rabbits, however, have reddish-orange urine.
well its normal for poop to stick to her but if it is a female maybe she is having a period if not hurry up and go to the vet.
Yes, first make sure it isn`t eating lettuce. Also, too much fruit can cause diarrhea. Rabbits need to eat LOTS of hay every day. (Oat, Timothy,Bermuda Grass- not Alfalfa hay.)The hay gives them roughage they need and digestds their food. Their droppings should be dry-crumble when you squeeze them. They should eat a mix of pellets and fresh greeens(parsley, turnip greens, mustard greens, cilantro, etc.) daily with all the hay they can eat.
