I kinda like to find out their personalities first, but I like unusual names too. My rats were named Algenon, Sophie O'Green, Alexandra (Who quickly became Ali), Baby Beth and Rachel (Rack-kel). Two strong boys could be named Achamedies and
Aristotle (Archie and Ari)
Grey one = Worm Tail
White one = Squeekers
grey/silver Boy names: Silver Streak, Pewter, Platnuim, Slate, Greymoore
Cream/White Red eyes: Ruby, Garnet, Ted, Harry, Steve
Master Splinter
Maybe some kingly-type names, as they are "rex" rats? e.g. James the 3rd, William the 1st, Henry the 8th. Or names from the Rat Pack - Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin (probably not current enough). Similarly Harrison (as in Rex Harrison) may be a bit old for you. What about "T", as in T Rex? Or make a joke about them - Pal and Whiskas (i.e. "dog food" and "cat food").
I like pet names based on their colours, but in a foreign language - google alternative names for silver (like "argent") and cream (like "creme").
Pompis
Trasero
Buttocks (please note that all of these names mean butt)
