1) Rats, really intelligent and sweet. They bond with their owners, if handled often and treated kindly. Always buy two of the same sex, as they need company from their own kind.
2) Guinea pigs. Nice cuddly creatures, but not too bright. Noisy little creatures (especially when your slow in feeding them, and requires lots of greens. Best buy two or more same sex.
3) Rabbit. Very nervy creatures. Males can be quite aggresive with other household pets, so best to buy a female, as they are easier to pet and handle. Can be quite destructive too.
Well I have a guinea Pig and she is so cute!! I had a hamster and they are not that great they would try to bite u if u let go of the hamster it is gone forever! Guinea Pigs are so relax and just a lot of fun!!!!!!
Do not Know about Rabbits
i had a rat they are soo sweet and smart too they never bite like hamsters do and they dont smell at all rabbits get kind of boring after about two weeks

Rabbits are hard to handle and aren't easy to train. Rats and guinea pigs are both great. If you want a more social animal go for a Rat. I have two and I love them both. I did have a guinea pig before but if I had to choose now I would still pick the rats. They are very loving.
i'd have to say guinea pig. they are very gentle, sweet, never bite, a little shy. they are very lovable, and cuddle buddies!!
Get 2 rats because they need to be together but you won't regret it they are so loving. I have 2 girls and they now come to me when I call them by name. They are like little dogs in a way and they are to cute for words!
You can go to a large animal shelter and spend time with various animals before finding a match. We got a great ferret, but our rabbit chewed up sofas and carpets. Gerbils are easy to care for, but sometimes rodents aren't all that friendly. Some of ours have been nervous, fearful and have bitten us.
