Rat, Rabbit, or Guinea Pig
The most expensive - the rabbit (vaccinations & neutering).
The one that BITES - my rats both did all the time.
The ones that run away - the rats and (sometimes) the guinea pigs.
The ones that love being held and stroked - the guinea pigs.
The most high maintainence - the rabbit.
The ones who kept me awake at night - rats and rabbit.
The smelliest - the rats (their wee even made the cage rust!).
If you want a pet that will sit on your lap for hours with you (and enjoys a stroke) and may even fall asleep on you... get a GUINEA PIG! My rats were lovely to have on your shoulder and run onto our backs but they didn't like sitting still (not to mention the amount of bites we got!)
My rabbit was lovely but they don't enjoy sitting still. They want to be on the move, or left alone when out of the cage. Mine did like attention though... he'd just tell me when he'd had enough. These are the most expensive pet. The rats were the least expensive.
good luck! I'm all for guinea pigs personally! Take advice from me, someone who has actually had all 3 pets!!
guinea pigs they're so cute i have 3 spots,milksake,and snowflake. : ^)
rabbits are sweat, cute and they dont poop as much as ginea pigs it is rare for rats to be nice but it is either very nice or extremely mean!
please get rats they r very affectionate and they are sweet and intelligent
I found that my rabbits are the most friendliest. I have never had a rat though. My pigs are more shy and squirmy I think.
A guinea Pig
Rats. Their intelligence is why they're used so much in scientific studies. Their ability to bond with humans is why they're so popular. Their small size makes them ideal to carry around on your shoulder or pocket. Our rat actually gives kisses, yes, with her little tongue. She's more like a dog than our dog. Guinea pigs are verbally noisy and rabbits can kick very hard. My vote is for a rat. Good luck.
