Rat question
1. poodles, chinese cresteds, elephants and many more animals dont shed.
2. hairless dogs cats rat, they do have some hair but they dont shed it.
yep they most certainly do
try wearing a black jumper and letting your white rat walk over, dont stroke him/her just let hin/her walk on it, then try and get the hairs off lol
by the way hairless rats, as oppossed to fuzzy or mock hairless [rex x rex], do not shed because they have no hair at all
whereas elephants do shed, they have hair on their tails that they shed [like we shed hair from our heads] and as babies are covered in fine downy hair which they shed as they grow
chinese crested do as they are not naked bodied the whole year plus there are two types of chinese crested fully furred and the one that goes naked apart from the 'crest'

Yes they do shed...it's not much but it happends...
They shed just like a short haired dog or cat (just obviously not as notice able)..
If you clean out a wire cage that has several rats in it, you will see some hair stuck to the wires, also they will shed some fur on your shirt if you carry them around for a while...

They shed alright. They just don't do it as obviously as cats and dogs because the hairs are shorter.^-^ Perfectly normal.
