You know of course that some smart alec is going to post a recipe for Kentucky Fried Hamster.

But anyway...

A nice little home mix for a simple treat:

1 C peanut butter

1 C Brown Sugar

1 egg

Mix well together. This makes a doughy base, and you can add chopped celery, carrots, or grains (oats, grits, millet, etc.)

Roll to about 1/4" thick between sheets of waxed paper, score into treat sized cookies, and bake on a lightly greased sheet 10 minutes or so at 350.

If you use fresh produce, store in the fridge, otherwise they will store nicely in a baggie.

i am sorry about everyone else on this page trying to make fun of you for trying to eat hamsters.

Here are some good treats for hamsters.

unsalted sunflower seeds, peanuts, dried peas, vanilla drops(bought from store), raw carrots, VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF UNPROCESSED MEAT, cucumber, small amount of cheese, dandelion leaves, plain cooked pasta or rice, and walnuts and almonds.
