Roborovski Hamsters
I am thinking about getting a Roborovski hamster . . . any good websites for learning more about them? Can anyone tell me more about them who has one? Because I know basic care and some about the hamster, but not much...
Also, I heard that you can 'walk' your hamster on a harness...? Would Roborovskis like this or hate it?
Thanks!!
Also, no stupid answers, please. Only answer if you are a hamster owner or have been one.

Robo dwarf hamsters are the smallest of all hamsters because they only grow up to 2 inches. They are very active. They can live longer than any other dwarf hamster. It would be a better idea not to put your hamster in a wire cage because they can easily squeeze out of the holes. They may look like they can't fit through the holes, but they really can. They never bite.I have 6,and I've never had any problems with them.Good Luck with your new hamster!
I know a bit about these kind of hamsters, as my friend's hamster is a Roborovski. Apparently, they live about 3.5 years on avg, which is the oldest lifespan of all domestic hamsters. They're also very quick and small. They're also extremely social as hamsters go, so getting a same-sex pair would be a good go.
