How come rodent pee is yellowish-white? I've had a hamster before, and his pee was like that, and I have 2 guinea pigs, and their pee is like that. Why is this? My guinea pigs are perfectly healthy.
Answers:I'm not sure why, but it is normal. There is nothing wrong with your animals as far as pee is concerned.
Probably because thats natural...what color are you expecting? If we are eating healthy, drinking water and eating less sugar our urine would be tthe same color. Lots of sugars and soda causes our urine to be dark yellow...

The white is extra calcium that your pig is dispelling. It is normal, but it is a good idea to watch their calcium intake. Too much can cause bladder stones which are very serious.
