I heard rumors of a woman mistaking a mexican sewer rat as a littlee dog are they true?

Urban legend. I have pet rat who weighs almost 2 pounds, and nobody could mistake him for a dog. Rats have furless tails, that serve as their portable air conditioner and helps them with balance. Rats eyes are much different than dogs eyes. Dogs don't have shiny eyes of black, red, or ruby. Rats are almost silent and don't bark. Rats are cute, intelligent and loyal friends who don't take up much room or need to be walked. They are also very clean. People love urban legends, they are usually something that "could" happen and most have a little bit of danger or grossness so they are fun to hear and pass on.

some sewer rats are huge as big as a small cat. it is very possible. dont let this turn you off of rats though they are great pets when they are domesticated.
