Should I get
A crittertrail cage? If so, what kind, like x and y, I know there are more, should I get? Or what kind would you reccomend?
Answers:You didn't say what kind of critter you have. Maybe you are trying to pick out a cage first, which is a good idea. The critter trail cages are certainly cute.
But first, are you sure a hamster is what you want?
Hamsters are not much for being a companion. They often bite, some have really nasty tempers and they are great escape artists!
Would you like a pet that is very intelligent, will learn his name as well as his cage-mates names? Will want to be with you and enjoy sitting on your shoulder, wants to be the first one out for playtime?
How about a pet that smells like grape soda?
The very best rodent to get is a domesticated pet rat! They are all that. Well the girls smell like grape soda, the boys smell more like a tortilla chip. They are not nocturnal, and will fit into your schedule.
A rat would have to be very frightened or being hurt to bite, unless you get an older rat who has been mistreated.
They are social and need a buddy; 2 or more boys or girls. They look adorable when they are curled up together for a nap. They love you and want and need to spend time with you.
Of course they are bigger, so a critter trail wouldn't be big enough.
If you get a pair of rats you will be glad you did. With a hamster, you may wish you didn't.
Hope you end up with a new pair of pals to ride in your sleeve or hoodie.
My hamster loves his crittertrail cage!! I don't think it matters; but If you get the little tunnel things; make absolute sure they are secure so he doesn't break it and escape... that happened to me once and I never found the little jerk...
So I got a new one.
=[
I don't know what a "crittertrail" cage is, but I would get one with a wheel in it so you could watch it go round and round.
heheheheheheheheh
You don't want to get to chubby hehehehehehehe
Dont get rotastack!!!!! they are tiny inside and a nightmare to clean. Just get a nice big Ferplast plastic tank/cage. If not the best this to do is put them in a glass tank as they are not too expensive, are easy to clean and hard to escape from :)
