there is a fly buzzing around and landing on his cage...
does it scare him? are flys dangerous to bluberry dwarf hamsters?
btw hes a blueberry dwarf.
Answers:Lol yeah what they said id kill the fly...I have a Blueberry too! They are awsome arn't they My hams name is Mugen.
No. Just kill the fly. The hamster might eat it if the fly dies in the cage... it wouldn't hurt the hamster if he ate the fly.
Flys do carry disease, my advice would be kill the fly.
I don't think flies do anything to hamsters. Make sure it's healthy though because flies eat decaying things. Make sure the fly doesn't go into the cage.I am not saying tape up the cage because hamsters need air and my cousin killed it by taping up the cage. I would just make sure you take good care, don't leave any old food in the cage like lettice and prranges and apples! And make sure there is a good watch on the cage to make sure the fly doesn't slip in or anything else!
I think your hampster is gonna be fine.
Believe it or not but hamsters like to eat bugs. They eat them in the wild because the food level is low. But if it lands near the hamster cage get rid of it because they carry germs with them and if it lands on anything in your hamsters cage it will make the hamster ill, so clean the equipment with pet safe detergent, making sure you rinse the equipment well.
Just kill the fly, my sis owns a hamster and that's what we did and he was fine. (i love hamsters)
dont worry about but kill the fly though
