Should i buy a running ball for my rat its just that i dont want it to be over tired2007-11-24 22:15:21Answers:
I bought one for my rat and she didn't really care for it that much. If I put her in it she would roll right over by my feet and just sit there. She would much rather be running around on my bed in a little playpen thing. I would rather just let her run around on my bed because she would always just hop over the side of the little playpen thing onto the floor, and I don't want her running around on the floor at all. I think all rats are different and have different personalities, so what my rat likes your rat might not like and what your rat likes my rat might not like. They will definately stop running around if they're tired though. I think you should just get one and try it out, see if your rat likes it or not.
Yes, you should. You'll both have fun. that rat will stop if it gets tired. Excersize is GOOD!
Most rats won't use them but you can try. I think you'd be better off getting a large playpen for it and letting it run around in there. =]
Rats won't tire themselves out, so go for it! The only thing that you have to watch out for is that some rats are afraid of running balls and won't do anything in them no matter how often you put them in one.
omfffgshhh i love rats! i had two. and i bought them the largest running ball. and they actually DO have fun. but i recommend you do NOT put them in together. one of the rodents can be injured. and i also have to warn you because, even if your rats have only been inside of their ball for a few minutes.. there will be a LOT of poop and pee inside. so please be kind to them, and clean the ball each time they get out. your welcome! and enjoy the rats, they are the best pets ive had! :D goodbye.
he enjoy getting out of his cage, give you something to watch and when he's tired I'm sure he's smart enough to stop.
Some rats won't use a running ball. I bought one for my rat and she gets scared each time I put her in it. Rats won't get over tired in a running ball. They normally sleep all day and are very active at night so they usually have alot of energy. If your rat is a female, she may like the running ball more than a male since females are usually more active. But the decision really depends on your rat.
most rats don't like those run about balls
They will stop when tired. My rats never used it. My first rat used to just sit in it looking as if se was too dignified to run in a large plasic ball, lol. They much preferred running free on the floor(with the room secure and rat proofed)
They LOVE them! Only problem is that they will with out a doubt go to the bathroom in the ball!
rats and small animals live off of food and exercise so i suggest you do
