i need names for a girl guinea pig and what color

If you can get 2 guinea pigs then, yes, go for it! But remember that they cannot be kept alone - you'll need at least 2. I have 11 and I'm only 16 years old so they aren't that difficult to look after, if you have enough time.

I don't think colour and breed really matters - get whatever YOU'D like.

As for names how about. Melody, Ebony, Lily, Rose, Rosie...

I'd say get an adult at a Rescue. It will be better to give a home to one in need, rather than a baby at the petshop. I have always adored adult guinea pigs more than baby guinea pigs personally!

I had a guinea pig when I was in middle and high school Her name was Honey Roasted Peanut cuz i couldn't decide between Honey and Peanut. She was caramel and white. Guinea pigs take a lot of work. you have to completely clean the cage once a week. (If you don't, they really smell.) She used to bite her bars all the time when she was hungry. They eat often! good luck!

I wouldn't be too concerned about the color. they are all very cute. Pick on that is comfortable with being handled, and she will be a great pet. Maggie is a cute name.
