Should i get a guinea pigs2007-11-24 22:15:24

i already have a hamster but im wondering about guinea pigs becuase i like fat chubby furry things. and do they bite alot wat would i need for it how much would it cost how do i handle it ( srry if theres so much questions xP)

Of course u should get a guinea pig!! They are the BEST!! They do bite a lot, so u need 2 get him wood chunks from PetsMart or somewhere. Pigs cost around $35 at my PetsMart. You handle it by letting it rest 4 at least 2 days after u get it then u can play with and let it run around on ur floor. Guinea pigs r great u should get one.

We had two at 2 separate times. They don't typically bite. They do not like to be held, usually. (They will pee at will and usually on you.) They smell the room up and have to have their bedding (chips) changed often. The fun part? When we opened the fridge drawer where their lettuce was kept they sqealed VERY loudly..lol..it was cute. The 1st one lived 8 yrs, the 2nd, 4.

I had one when I was younger and she never bit me. I think they make good pets and if you want one you should get one. They are really easy to take care of!

and they now have special beeding that will help control the smell and it is also scented

you would hold them and i also heard you can teach them tricks
