Should i put fresh water in my dwarf hammies water bottle every day2007-11-24 22:15:04

I have aguinea pig, and i only fill it when its empty. Will it be bad to not put fresh new water in every day, instead of waiting till its down to fill it up??

It would be best to give them fresh water and food about everyday. To us it would be stale tasting if we had food out for a couple days and we need clean fresh water everyday.

Its a good idea. If you go away for the weekend or something its ok to let it go for about 3 days, but don't let it become a habit.

It's best for the hamster to change the water in its bottle every day, otherwise the water will get stale and the hammie might get sick.

yes! most definitely maybe even twice a day and also even if it didnt eat the food. throw it out every day and give it new food. it wont be fresh. i know i worked at a petstore

Every animal should have their food and water containerd cleaned and filled with fresh every day. Would you want food and water that has been sitting around for a day or two growing bacteria?
