why does my rat squeak sometimes? she squeaks when her sister bothers her (her sister rat) well i think that means she bothering her anyone know?
Answers:If her sister is bothering her than she's telling her off. Be glad you don't know what she's saying. It might not be very nice.
i dunno either
maybe they are playing or even talkin who knows
She's squeeking to communicate - you have the right of it.
She will also make little clicking sounds when she is content, and, if you tickle her by rubbing her chin and her belly, and she makes little "chuffing" sounds, that means she is laughing!
(Its so cool that rats can laugh!)
Rats squeak to communicate, as well as chatter thier teeth. My rat Daphne will push the lid of her cage up and make racket to get my attention when her squeaking doesn't work. If she bounces around, try to see if she wants to get out of her cage.
rats just squeak sometimes...but yes if hes kind of trying to scare her away and kind of lunging at her, then yes you rat is being bothered.
They squeak when they are unhappy. If she is happy she will grind her teeth.
