Strange hamster behavior

My hamster tends to build her nest in her wheel (it's enclosed). I keep the cage clean. Any ideas why she''d decided to do this out of nowhere??
Answers:Some hamsters and gerbils just don't know what the wheel is for or they love it so much they always want to sleep there but don't always notice they block it with bedding.
If the wheel is enclosed like I'm thinking it'll feel something like a pouch type house for her to snuggle and stay warm in with all her bedding.
If it just started out of nowhere maybe it's a temp. change for her that she feels colder and needs to create a better burrow to stay warmer?
The elnclosed space of the wheel probably adds an extra element of safety. She probably jsut feels safer there.
It's probably because it may be the only enclosed, safe-feeling place in the cage. Try getting a hidey-house for her and see if she still builds a nest in the wheel.
it might be more comfty. and feels safer and better in there. its not anything wrong.
she finds it like a good spot
