Answers:If you are getting a sugar glider or already have one, please for the glider's sake follow prodigy's advice and no one esles (at least no one else that's answered so far). Prodigy hit it right on the nose.
Pellets can be used, but I wouldn't because they aren't a complete diet and can actually hurt the lining of their mouths and cause infection.
There are a few diets out there that are complete, but live food is not a complete diet. I feed mealworms, but as a snack only - they are way too fatty to feed more than a few a day.
I feed a diet called BML - full of protien and vitamins that they need. I just make it at home by blending baby food, juice, honey, and a few other ingridients I can get at the grocery store. It is a strict diet, only certain fruits and veggies can be fed with it, but it keeps my kids healthy. Here's a link:

HTH :)
Haha sugar gliders are marsupials (im pretty sure ) and you can give them dry food . They like hammocks and things that hang . Deffinatly a really cool pet
I think that they are required to eat live food
its best for them to eat live food. i would recommend meal worms. you can put them in the freezer and they will still be alive but they don't move then you put a few in a bowl for the glider and after they warm up again they will move around the glider will eat them and he/she will get the protein they need. just make sure he/she eats the ones you give it and make sure you keep them in the freezer or they will turn into beetles. you can also feed it fruit. grapes, apples, ect... i don't recommend the pellets just because its not the best nutrition for you glider. but meal worms and fruit is really quite simple in my oppinion. hope this helped clear up your question:)
Do you own one? If so then yes they eat pelleted food that you buy from the pet store.
