You should have researched hamster care before getting one!!

You really really should do lots of research to care for your new responsibility. It's bigger than you think.

Always research on a pet before you get one!!

I like the hamsterific.com , very insightful.

no theres no way to make them stop bitting...there teeth grow fast and they chew/bit things to wear them down... w.e you give your hamster it will chew on...but make sure w.e you give them the object is not chemically treated...

you should put a couple of big rocks that are sand paper-ish so they can scrap there nails on it cause there nails grow fast too and they can hurt the animal if they get to long...

dont put 2 hamsters in the same cage they dont like sharing there space with other animals.

make sure to keep the water dish and food bowl full...and a cage MUST have a wheel cause they need there excersise. they can run on the wheel for 1 km a night...they love to run.and make sure the have a hamster ball that they can run around in on the floor.

To care for a hamster, keep the bedding in the cage clean by changing it about once a week. Use only these three beddings, Aspen wood shavings, Care fresh, or shredded paper. Dont use pine or cedar because they have toxic oils in the wood that may cause respiratory issues and death. Feed the hamster only what it will eat in a day, empty the water bottle and clean it all the way out at least once a week. Handle it every day, and if it needs to be tamed follow my method below.
