i got a teddy bear hamster and did i make the right choise because i wanted to get a hamster that likes to play but i didnt want one that is hard to keep
Answers:I grew up with teddy bear hamsters, they're great little animals. I'm pretty sure that hamsters don't have breed-specific personalities like dogs or cats... I don't think that they are that complicated. Make sure you don't use red cedar for his bedding (bad for the respiratory system) and give it something to chew on (wood blocks) or his teeth, which never stop growing, will eventually pierce him. Wake him gently! I had one that lived for 3 years.
well if it's your first hamster then yes. if it's just another hamster then no. the playful really hyper hamsters are russin dwarfs or any other dwarfs. teddy bears are more laid back easily tamed and are easily played with but if u want a hamster always ready to play then dwarfs are good bad really terribly hard to tame
ya you did
