So i was considering getting a Roborovski hamster, but i read that they don't really want to be handled. and i really wanted to hold them a lot. What other type of dwarf hamster is good with handling and is friendly? or cute...?

To tell you the truth, I've had hamsters and rats, and rats are the way to go! They are cute, and friendly, and they can be easily trained. If you are hung up on the hamster idea, just a regular hamster or swarf hamster is a good idea. But I would suggenst getting a pet rat if you want to handle it a lot - they can be trained, and they're very loyal, lovable pets.

A siberian dwarf hamster can be tamed pretty well. They are really cute with that stripe down their back.

Hamsters in general tend to not like people, at best, they tolerate it...not like it...

If you want a pet who's actually going to like you, like being held and played with, get a rat...

They enjoy human companionship, and actually require it...

Rats are by far the best small animal to keep as a pet...they are the most intelligent, friendliest...

They learn to come when they are called, they can be potty trained, and learn numerous tricks...

It's something to think about...
