Answers:

I've had hamsters, gerbils, and guinea pigs and guinea pigs will always be my favorite. They're the funnest because they'll do just about anything for food and their little noises are so cute! They're easy to take care of but not compared to the hamsters/gerbils because of cage space and expense. Guinea pigs can be pretty quiet until they squeal purr and grunt but I wouldnt consider it being loud. Guineas cost more than the gerbils/hamsters but they're definitely worth it !

I wouldnt get a mouse or gerbil as they are smaller and can get into too much. A guinea pig or rabbit would cost way more fo food, pellets and cages.(cage) But you can hold them like a small dog. Hamsers are like medium sized rodent and cant get into as much as mice. I have never heard of a rodent being touht tricks but you ca potty train them.

hamsters are great! lots of fun and reasonably cheap. my sister had a gerbil and it was psychotic! hamsters just look cute and cuddley!

If you want somthing to cuddle with all the time than a gunia pig is for you, if you want somthing inteligent, cuddly when sleeping and active when its wide awake than i think you want a hamster. Allthough gerbals are a fun and iteresting pet who are a constant chalenge so you decide. Hamsters are like six bucks and gunia pigs are like 23 bucks and i am not sure on the price of gerbals. And the quitest is the gunia pig allthough it dous sqeak but i woud say get a hamster and vote me best answer!:]

hamsters and gerbils are about $10, whereas guinea picgs are about $25. they're all pretty easy to take care of. give them a clean cage, food and water, and some space to run around and/or a wheel and they're fine. hamsters and gerbils are very quiet as long as you get them a frictionless wheel so it won't squeak when they run. guinea pigs are more cuddly than hamsters, but they make a REALLY annoying squeaking sound (my bird learned to copy it when I had a guinea pig, yikes).
