What care does a tarantula need to be kept as pet
there are a lot of sites out there that you can check...but they like it warm (heat light) and arid, I use a small misting bottle to spray in the habitat daily, they need a place to hide like a root branch, sand, and rocks...they also have to have clean water daily.they eat live crickets.sometimes once a week I will give mine 5 to 6 medium ones..oh, don't use the stuff like for rabbits and mice and gerbils it is harmful to them.also their skeletons are on the outside and if you plan on handling it be very careful...a small fall of just inches can severely hurt your pet.
make sure you don't use potting soil in it's cage, it could be dangerous to them.
don't put it in direct sunlight.
don't move its cage around too much.
feed it crickets or other small, living organisms.
make sure it has fresh, clean water.
put a hiding place for it in its cage.
not much other than food.
