I took my hamster out in the mornig to check it over (to be cautious)and this afternoon It looked like it had wet tail.But before I left my room in the morning I saw it peeing in it's wheel that he sleeps in.He doesn't have diarhea because he had brown poo stuck to his side.So i cleaned out his cage.I think he has the runs.What do I do to help my poor little Elmo?Please help!

Better check with your vet. Pee where sleeps could be bladder infection or diabetis. Poop where sleeps is also a problem. May not be a food/water problem.

i don't really get what you're saying...you say he doesn't have diarrhea, but has poo on his side, and then you say you think he has the runs.which is diarrhea. so which is it? do you think he has the runs/diarrhea or not? either way, you should go to the vet. if he's over 1 year old, it could just be age, and he's getting near to the end...
