Just leave them alone, mom will take care of them. You can handle them gently from day 1 for 2 minutes a day the first week and adding 2 minutes each 4 days there after

Spray them down with a good disinfectant such as Lysol and clean up all the afterbirth using cotton towels soaked in gasoline or paint thinner.

Give her a hide box, this can be part of a shoe box or a food box( a soda box woks well) cut in half, with the bottom cut out. Just put it up against the side of her cage. Give her lots of quiet and privacy, but check on her to make sure there aren't any problems. You might also want to consult with a vet to find out if you need to change what you are feeding her while she is nursing, and to find out when the babies will need to be weened. leave them alone, the mom knows whats best for her kids. just make sure to remove the daddy, becoz males tend to kill the youngsters.

Males do not eat the babies. However, if there is a male in the cage he should be removed immediately, because the female can get pregnant again rather quickly.

You will also want to make sure and separate any male babies from mom/sisters at 3 weeks of age.

I was considering breeding guineas for a while but decided against it because I read that they often have difficulties when they give birth (while the baby is very large relative to its mother) and the vets' bills can be VERY expensive!
