What do I need to do to protect my other rabbits one died this am2007-11-24 22:16:16

We have 7 bunnies, well 6 now. I have tried to educate myself before getting these rabbits. One of my 4 month old just died. Everything seemed fine. My concern now is for my other bunnies. I have wiped everything down with alcohol. Is there anything else I should?

Answers:

Bunny rabbits have a very high risk of heart defects. I had one just a few months ago die for no good reason. The one he was with is fine, so i got him a new friend and they are doing fine. I don't really know of any contagous diseases. Don't think you need to worry.

Without knowing why the one died it is hard to say. You should take the other rabbits to the vet and have them checked out. There is no other way to know for sure. I also am assuming that these are domestic rabbits and not wild rabbits

Probably could ask a vet about your problem. Maybe they need shots or something?

Go to the vet and have the other rabbits checked out to make sure it's nothing that spread to them.
