I found a baby opossum and it's mother is dead what should I feed it.

Okay first off you probly should call a wildlife rehabilitator, they can tell you pretty much what you need. But Note: depending on how young it is it might not survive with out it's mom. I raised for baby opossums last year. They are very fasinasting creatures and Them, themselves are not very dirty. Could you please email me and keep me updated on how he/she is doing? Everything. They live on garbage. Feed it cabbage and ham or something.

if it has fur try to feed it pedialyte diluted and make sure you keep the baby warm and you can contact them, this is the link for more info

They eat everything. A lot of times, they ingest live maggots and for some reason the maggots don't die.

Call a wildlife rehabilitator center. It needs people that know what they are doing and take it there fast or it will start to death.
