my hamster is eating cabbage alot but i dont no if its healty for her. my friend gives her cabbage EVERY time she comes over..what else can i feed to my hamster? and is cabbage healty!?
i need to no cause she has been acting wierd!
Answers:Cabbage is the worst thing to feed a hamster!If you have a dwarf hamster don't feed it hamster commercial food, now Tino has diabetes.Give the hamster bird seed,piece of apple, some celery, peaches, lettuce once a month, some roasted peanuts
or raw peanuts.There some type of baby bird seed you can buy at Wal-Mart.There's a lot more than that, please stop feeding it
cabbage its unhealthy.I used to have 4 dwarf hamsters but one died his name was Sweetheart Breakheart Gan.On 7-3-07.

no feed her dry hamster mix, cabbage will give her the shi**!! give her carrots and apples for a treat not cabbage or lettuce!
I would stop feeding the hammie cabbage. As for what to feed it just go to the pet store and get some hamster food.
