I think they like dry veggies and fruits but im not sure.

I have a dwarf hamster, and his favorite food are baby carrots.

When he sees a carrot in my hand, he literally jumps on it and snatches it from my fingers, then runs in a little corner to eat it ! LOL It's soo cute!

You can give dwarf hamster vegetables and fruits...I give mine little pieces of apple, lettuce and carrots...

Just make sure the veggies you give him are well washed and are not coming straight from the fridge...

Mine likes sunflower seeds and peanuts. he actaully hides them in his little house

They LOVE sunflower seeds. They also like unbuttered peices of popcorn. :)

My dwarf hamsters love sunflower seeds,but don't give them flavored sunflower seeds like salted ones.Dwarf hamsters also love fruits,but don't ever give them any sour fruits because they hate it.It's also bad for them.They also like boiled eggs.

I must say sunflower seeds too! All of my 4 dwarf hamster loves sunflower seeds. Mine love those pre mixed stick as well (where all kinds of seeds are stuck together in stick shaped like a corn), but i only give them if i'm out of town or as a small treat. And mine will chew like crazy! Mine do love fresh fruits and leafy vege too, i gave them tiny amount of fresh apples, watermelons and papaya as well! I only feed my dwarf hamsters japanese brand food, especially the brand "Marukan - Minimal food", http://www.marukan.org/. It's great!
