It would depend on what it looks like and it personality. My children have two hamsters. One is a golden teddy bear who's name is lucky. My daughter name him that after her gerbil got eaten by the cat. Its a long story that ended up with having to duct tape the cage to the dresser. LOL... but I digress. My other daughter's hamster is named snow flake because he is white with little spots of gray. And yes all their cages are now duct taped to the dressers.
