What is happening when a hamster keeps scratching itself alot and its loosing its fur2007-11-24 22:17:34

he is super itchy and pink and u can see where he is loosing his fur.i dont know why he is doing it alot lately, he never has .if it means he is sick or something.?

check on a vet it prob mites cause you said it never done it before so it isnt stress unless like you kid scream at it for the whole day but he also itchy meaning yep prob mites vet check or check for funnel

How old is your hamster? It's probably loosing fur due to old age. Also your hamster could be combing its fur aka grooming itself.
