what is the best hamster it has to be up all day and it has to be entergetic and loves to run on wheels and climb in tubes

The majority of hamsters will stay up all night to exercise and play. But like all animals their is never a garentee of what their personality will be like.

I have a male syrian and he is about as lazy as they come. He has never used his exercise wheel and rarely wakes through the night, just on and off every couple of hours. But he adores human contact and does love running around in his exercise ball.

The smaller breeds are much faster and energetic than the syrian. Russian hamsters and robos for example would be a better choise for energy, but not for socialising and being tame. Syrians are best for that. Smaller breeds tend to be nippy.

all hamsters are nocturnal..maybe you should get a teddy bear hamster, they're friendly and energetic. But dwarf hamsters are energetic also, they just don't want to be handled as much as a teddy bear hamster.

Bear hamsters a great because they're pretty friendly and energetic. Other types with longer fur can get stuff like wood shavings stuck in them or can be more prone to biting.

Dwarf hamsters are great for kids to look at but in my experience they can be aggressive. And yes they are usually more active during the night.
