What is the smallest pet rodent2007-11-24 22:17:39

I want a really small pet rodent! Which pet rodent is smallest? I already own two gerbils, Happy and Autumn! O, and will the pet need company? Will I have to buy two, or will it be fine on its own?

Dwarf hamsters are about the same size as small mice. They are also very social, so I reccomend getting two so they will keep each other company.

baby hamster. okay they get bigger but they are really cute.. and if you get them young they be more accustom to you and probably won't bite you.

I think the smallest pet rodent is the pet mouse . If your planning on buying one I would but a larger rodent like a russian dwarf( the hamster I want to get soon) cause with a mouse they can excape easily. A mouse has a very flexible body. If they can squeeze thier head through something thier whole body can. A hamster would be a better choice. They are bigger and not as flexible.
