What is the the best bedding to use for my female Syrian hamsters2007-11-24 22:17:40

Currently i am using pine... I was wondering if there is somthing better i should use or something more absrorbant. Any ideas ?

Carefresh is the best bedding to use, its absorbant, soft, and doesn't smell bad, pine is not very safe to use for hamsters, so i would definately use carefresh, it might be kinda expensive, but it is the best bedding outthere

What kind of pine are you using now? Sawdust? Cuz sawdust is really messy, and your syrian could accidentaly inhale some.

Petco or Walmart has couple of other brands which are more absorbent rather than pine. It almost feels like cotton or soft paper and it comes in different colors.

carfreash is made out of recycled paper pulp and is HIGHLY odor obsorbent!!

so defff get the carefreash...it is soft..easy to clean....and is ordor free!

yes use Super Shavin's by cozy critter. Sold at petsmart, it's great and a healthy choice.
