Answers:The breed really doesn't have any bearing on the answer like it would for breed of dog. There's also no life expectancy difference between males and females.
A guinea pig will, on average, live five years. Some will live a few more years depending upon how well they are cared for (housed indoors or out, quality of pellets & hay, fresh veggies, etc.).
I believe up to 2-5 years for guinea pigs.
