Well, about two years back i adopted a kitty; best cat i've ever had and my very own first. Now he's about two and hunts like crazy. You won't believe the stuff he brings in! into my room!! ALIVE!! like snakes, frogs, lizards etc.

Just today at about 8:30ish my mum woke me up to help her catch something my cat brought in, we took pictures to show my father, since he works over-seas and my cat has never brought in anything like this before, although he has brough in live, 6 feet snakes in!we can't figure out what it is!

i was hoping you all could help and look at this picture and see if you know what it is?

At first we thought it was a mouse or rat or a possum, but the snout isn't long enough for a possum, and for a mouse or rat, the ears are different; but we could be wrong on that, im thinking it's a mouse, buy my mum argues that a mouse didn't move like it did; so i'll leave it up to you all to decide thank you!

that is not a muskrat... too small to be a muskrat. it's a vole. a very cute one, i might add!

I still can't determine the exact size of the rodent. It looks like a sort of mouse. Definately NOT a possum and I doubt it's a rat. If it's very small and has long back feet, it's a kangaroo mouse, if it's very large, I'm not so sure. It helps if I know where in our great world you live. US? UK? ?
