Answers:It is a moth, probably something in the family Gelechiidae. These are mostly a group of pest species, that include leaf miners, grain pests, and clothes moths. You could probably find out more by taking one to a university near you that has an entomologist on staff.
If these are a food pest, I'd start by looking for any grain/nut products that you may have in the house, including things like bird seed to try and find where they're breeding - look for the small white/tan caterpillars and cobwebby "silk" they leave behind. If you go to a home and garden stores, look for pantry moth traps - these are a glue trap to catch the adults: http://www.biconet.com/traps/ppt.html...

it is the worlds biggest moth
It's a moth. We have them over here in San Antonio, too. They're attracted to light and fly around you, but they don't have mouth pieces to bite because most adult moths like that don't even eat.
youve never seen a moth before? i live in illinois and they are soo comon here
looks like half fly half cockroach lol
