What is your favorite color gerbil

I'm thinking about getting a new gerbil! I own two already, Happy(lilac), and Autumn(agouti)! Happy was my first gerbil, I did'nt pick him out because I did'nt want to, I wanted it to be a surprise! My newest addition Autumn is the one I picked out, I wanted a gerbil that had a little bit of all the colors a gerbil could have. So I chose Autumn! I've had Happy for 2 years, and Autumn for 1 year. What is your favorite color for a gerbil?

All gerbils are adorable, in my opinion, regardless of colour. I think that when choosing a gerbil, it is more important to pick the healthiest looking one, rather than the cutest one with the best coloration.

However, my favorites were definitly siamese, spotted black, spotted slate and red fox. Most of the gerbils that I own are spotted argente, but I find the some of the colorations provided on the website to be more interesting. If I had to choose only one color . . . it would be spotted black. If you get a gerbil, you should defenitly buy a black spotted one if you are able to find a healthy one.

If you can't find the color you want from a pet shop or breeder, don't be dissapointed. Appearance isn't as important as the general health and personalitly of your new gerbil.
