I buy the Western Cut Timothy hay for all of my pigs. I also order their Orchard grass & stick about a handful in the hay racks when I fill them with the Timothy hay. It gives them a little variety and they love it!

You can also try http://www.kmshayloft.com/ for some really high quality hay and grass. Her hay is less expensive than Oxbow & is really fresh. Depending upon where you are located though, the shipping cost can be a real bummer.

Aspen shavings & Carefresh are both good choices for bedding. I think the Carefresh does a better job with odor control, but I also find it to be rather dusty. You want to try & eliminate as much dust as possible so the pigs don't breathe it and get a respiratory infection. The aspen is not as dusty and is less expensive, but I think it needs to be changed more frequently.

You want to feed Timothy hay to your guinea pig. Unless they are very young, under 6 months I believe, you DON'T want to feed Alphala. Oxbow is a great company to go through to get the Timothy hay.

Guinea pigs love dandelion leaves. Feed it some of those.

Put not too many as it can have laxitive effects.
