Ok, here's my personality, what animal fits it? i am looking for my perfect match!鈾?ok here it is!!!!!!!!!!

books: nature, animal books

tv: animal planet

video games: nintendog, cats (wish there were cavy games)

activeness: not alot, likes biking, most time inside looking online for pet ads

pet wanted: guinea pigs

why ask this question: i want to know if a guinea pig is right for me.

I can't tell you what to get because it is a personal choice. I will however tell you that guinea pigs are awesome small pets.

Guinea pigs live for up to 8 years although the average life span is somewhere between 5 and 7 years. You obviously know that their scientific name is cavy.

Cages:

Before buying your guinea pig you need to have the correct cage. This will depend on whether you have it inside or outside although it is said that your guinea pig will not get as sick as often if kept inside (my guinea pigs are outside though and they are happy and diffenitaly not sick, the other thing that is said is that if they are outside they are forgotten... This is not the case in our house!!). The following points are what you need in an hutch:

1. Two compartments

2. One with a mesh front the other with a soild front

3. Raised off the ground

4. Covered well during storms or fireworks

5. Containers for food, water, hay rack.
