I live in an apartment too and i have a male dutch rabbit. I was suppose to get a dwarf rabbit but he got mixed in some how.

Despite what people say, indoor rabbits are VERY clean animals and friendly. My rabbit actually lives in my room. He is in a cage but he is litterbox trained and he gets let out sometimes. You just have to watch out for wires, books, or important papers because rabbits like to chew. His cage does not smell unless it hasnt been cleaned out in a long time and i only have to clean it about once every 1-2 weeks. It really takes less than 10 minutes to clean since he is litterbox trained. He's very smart and comes up to the cage when im near it. If you do get a rabbit though, you have to remember they arnt like fish or turtles (i've had a box turtle and currently have fish too). You have to change your rabbit' s water daily and give him food when his bowl empties. Rabbits also tend to chew anything that gets a little too close to their cage.. and mine likes to make noise at night but it doesnt usually wake me up.

If you do decide to get a rabbit, i suggest a holland lop because those are extremely cute and they are suppose to be super friendly and small. I would also reccomend a dutch rabbit too (you can tell this breed apart because they have a specific fur color pattern).

If you really cant decide i suggest just going to a pet store and picking out a random rabbit, because normally unless you buy the rabbit from a breeder, special place, or KNOW the breed the pet store is wrong about the breed.

Good rabbits cant just be classified by their breed though, they all have different personalities too just like people.

if you want a small bunny get a dwarf hotot rabbit but they can be shy. if u want a normal bunny get a rabbit that is about 5 or 6 inches.i forgot the name.
