Answers:

small quantities of fresh vegetables, but greens should be avoided or fed in VERY small quantities only, as they can cause severe digestive upsets. Carrots seem to be relished, as are potatoes.

Can also give small quantities of fresh fruits, as well as the occasional meal worm or cricket and hay for roughage.

Some will also take yogurt and/or small pieces of cooked chicken.

I would avoid lettuce and other "greens" or anything that is too "mushy" because they can cause diarrhea. They love carrots, oats, and cheese (it's so fun to watch them eat string cheese). These treats, however, should make up NO MORE than 15% of their diet.

um,my dwarf hamster can eat and fruits or veggies,but you can also feed them dog treats as an occasional treat,my hamsters love dog treats,and they don't get sick at all!

Yes, small amounts of greens and fruits as they can cause diareah in small animals. Hamsters can be given small amounts of cabage, apples, carrots, pear, unsalted sunflowerseeds, peanuts...I generally don't recomend meat for rodents, even though they can eat it (your fingers are meat too...don't want them associatng them with food).
